Election Fever

There are two major elections in India. One is the M.P. (Member of Parliament) Election and the other is the M.L.A.(Member of Legislative Assembly) Election. Both are conducted at different times at a gap of 4 year tenure. Both involves massive preparation of manpower and resources. Both decides the present and future of India.
21st day of April, 2009 marks a prelude to the 15th Lok Sabha Election for Inner Manipur. The outer Manipur election was held on the 16th of the same month. Tomorrow, the 22nd is the D-day when the whole of inner Manipur goes to the poll. There are 7 candidates, fighting for the single M.P. post. All the arrangements have been made and systematic work allocation have been done. Materials are distritibuted to Presiding officers (Polling officers) which are five in number (1+2+2) i.e. Presiding Officer, 2 Polling Officers, 2 Grd. 4 employees of the Government of Manipur. All we have to do is wait and see if things go smoothly and peacefully. All that we hope is that there are no repolls. "Hope!", that's what everyone feels during these times.
