Its the year 2009. We are in the 21st Century. Or am I deluding myself? Manipur seems to be hellbent on Medieval lifestyle if some of the recent events in our society is a manifestation of our development. The Government is now recruiting Village Task Force who will guard their own villages from miscreants. Three Government Employees bludgeoned to death... Highways continue to be hazardous with extortions, kidnappings and robbery. I cannot understand how our people have become so barbaric and unethical in so many ways. Or may be, it's time we understand and remember the mistakes we have made in history.
