Guwahati - A surprise trip!

Guwahati - Always understated...
Hi, I was in Guwahati recently during the Holi- The festival of Colors! No, it wasn't a holiday break, nor was it to celebrate. I was there with my parents for medical reasons. It was kinda hectic but something good came out of it. We managed to enjoy Guwahati for the first time, even though we have been there many times.
It's a kinda weird place which is normally understated by virtue of being in the N-East India, but
it is turning into one Big Metropolitan city in the the remote N-East India. I could see so many changes in the last few years in the form of Big Shopping Malls, Big apartments, Big overbridges...
The folks celebrated holi in all its glory and because I could not go to Shillong, we managed to act like tourist this time and visited good eat out places and Kamakhya temple. I took some great photos too!  Hop you like them...
